The main peculiarity of LignoAlp is definitely also its strongest feature, but for us and our job it also represented a great challenge to overcome.
The use of wood in house building is an avanguarde technique, as well as very safe and efficient on both an architectural and residential level, but unfortunately the average costumer is not really aware of it. That’s why we came into play.
Our goal was to be able to tell the story of LignoAlp’s products, in order to highlight all the reasons why it is a wise choice to build your house using wood.

This was the main question we based our whole project on. This question worked as a fulcrum for everything we decided to tell, because it embodies both the main question we wanted to answer and the guide line we had to follow in order to realize a fully satisfying work. In order to give a satisfactory answer to the question, we decided to follow LignoAlp’s production system step-by-step, starting from the choice of the proper type of wood, until that very piece of wood becomes the ceiling over someone’s head. All the material we collected during this project includes footage of the factories and the construction sites, interviews with managers and workers, but also with some of the clients and the architects who designed some of the most iconic wooden buildings ever realized, always fully supported by LignoAlp. Our all-encompassing editing makes it possible for the viewer to entirely understand LignoAlp’s admirable line of work and what this company wants to impart, because no one can answer the main question better than them, who work the wood with passion everyday.
